Last weekend held a major milestone for the Davis family! We celebrated Jonathan's ordination and God's call upon him to be the RUF Campus Minister at UK. It was the culmination of 3 years of hard work, but more importantly, it was a reminder of God's faithfulness to Jonathan and to our family. God ordained before the foundation of the earth that J would become a minister of His Word. How AMAZING:)
Our whole family was in town to celebrate. Our church included the ceremony in the Sunday service so the whole congregation was able to be a part of it. J's brother Brian did the charge to Jonathan, reminding him to rest in God's grace and Christ's work especially during the trying times of his ministry. I was a majorly proud wife. He now likes to be referred to as Rev (Ha...just kidding!).
