The most renowned places in Lexington are Rupp Arena (where the Wildcats play basketball) and Kenneland - the horse racetrack. Come April and October Kenneland's grounds fill up with Lexington folks who are ready to see some horse racing!! Even if it is not the racing season, you can go to the track in the morning and watch the horses workout and eat breakfast with the jockeys in the Track Kitchen. So Mimi came in town for Thanksgiving and we decided to take the plunge and go. It was so much fun, a little bit cold, but definitely worth it:)
